I recently saw an intriguing NOVA episode on PBS called ‘Decoding the Neanderthals’. The subject of human evolution has long fascinated me though I was never bright enough to pursue the study as a career. I stll prefer stone tools and cave paintings to the iPhone and social media.

As I was browsing the web today, I noticed an article on a girl in India whom claims to have telepathic powers. I’m sure that’s a gift we would all like to have at one time or another. On the other hand, having too many thoughts hitting you all at once from too many disparate sources, I would think, could give you quite the headache. Such a gift might turn out not to be such a gift.
